Assoc. Prof. Giuseppe Lanza Appointed Associate Editor of the International Journal of Medical and Healthcare Research

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Assoc. Prof. Giuseppe Lanza as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Medical and Healthcare Research.

Assoc. Prof. Giuseppe Lanza, born in Catania (Italy) in 1982, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role. Currently serving as a Senior Academic Researcher at the University of Catania (Italy), his academic journey has been marked by remarkable achievements.

After graduating with honors in Medicine, Assoc. Prof. Lanza underwent extensive training at the School of Neurology, culminating in the attainment of an international PhD from the same esteemed institution. His pursuit of excellence led him to the Department of Neuroscience at Newcastle University (UK) as a visiting Clinical Research Fellow, further enriching his clinical and research acumen.

In 2013, Assoc. Prof. Lanza was honored with a Scientific Fellowship supported by the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS), a testament to his contributions to the field. For nearly five years, from 2013 to October 2018, he served as a Consultant Neurologist at the Oasi Research Institute – IRCCS in Troina (Italy), an institution recognized as a Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization (WHO).

His dedication to education is exemplified by his tenure as a Neurology instructor at the Kore University of Enna (Italy) from 2015 to October 2018. With over 110 publications in internationally indexed peer-reviewed Journals and Conferences, Assoc. Prof. Giuseppe Lanza has significantly advanced the body of knowledge in his field.

His contributions extend beyond research, as he currently holds roles as Editor and invited Reviewer for several distinguished international Journals. Additionally, he has recently achieved the prestigious Master of Science (Level I) in Clinical Research and obtained National Scientific Qualification as an Associate Professor, a rigorous recognition of his scholarly qualifications.
